Manzoufas Panagiotis graduated from the School of Law of AUTh with a degree grade of “excellent 9.13”. During his studies (academic years 1984-1985, 1985-1986, 1986-1987, 1987-1988) he received the annual scholarship of the State Scholarship Foundation (I.K.Y). He successfully completed his postgraduate studies at the Department of Public Law and Political Science of the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and obtained a postgraduate diploma with the grade “excellent”. In October 1996 he defended his doctoral thesis on: “”Academic freedom. Organizational and procedural considerations. The constitutional framework of the promotion of academics” before a seven-member examination committee, which unanimously deemed him worthy to receive a doctoral degree with a grade of “excellent” and in December 1996 he was awarded a doctorate in Law of the Department of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In the period 1997-2000 he taught organization of education at the Pedagogical Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in the teacher moot programs. In 2002 he was elected Lecturer, in 2007 Assistant Professor, in 2014 Associate Professor and in 2019 Full Professor of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has taught at the School of Judges and has published five monographs as well as articles and studies in the fields of constitutional law, political science, constitutional history, education law and EU law.
