George Letsas holds the Chair in the Philosophy of Law at University College London since 2014. He is the Chair of the UCL Research Ethics Committee for Humanities, Arts and Sciences (HAS). He is the Co-Director of the UCL Institute for Human Rights and an affiliate member of the Philosophy Department of UCL. He holds a DPhil in Law and an MA from UCL, as well as an LL.B. from the University of Athens. Professor Letsas is the co-creator (with Nicos Stavropoulos of Oxford University) of The Jurisprudes: A Podcast in Legal Philosophy, and co-convenes (with Scott Shapiro) the Yale-UCL Workshop in Legal Philosophy. He was formerly co-Editor of Current Legal Problems (OUP). He has written for the London Review of Books (LRB), the Times Higher Education (THE), Aeon, the UK Constitutional Law Blog and Kathimerini.
